A Conversation with Mastoureh Fathi.
Mastoureh Fathi is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland.
Her research focuses on migration, home, identity, class, gender, intersectionality, and the narratives that shape people’s experiences of belonging and mobility. She is currently the Principal Investigator of MIGDIS – Migrants’ Digital Spaces, a project funded by Research Ireland.
Dr Fathi was previously a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at the Institute for Social Science Research in the 21st Century (ISS21) at UCC. She is the co-author of Migration and Home: An IMISCOE Short Reader (Springer, 2024, Open Access) and currently serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Irish Journal of Sociology.
